Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to support our manufacturing operations. This role is central to our supply chain, ensuring that Purchase Orders (POs) are processed accurately and that communication with our global vendor base remains professional and timely. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong internal customer service skills.
Full Time - Monday thru Friday 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing: Accurately enter Purchase Orders (POs) into the system and ensure all data matches procurement requirements.
Vendor Communication: Initiate and send professional emails to vendors to place orders and request quotes.
Pricing Follow-up: Proactively follow up with vendors regarding pricing updates, lead times, and order confirmations.
Internal Support: Act as a point of contact for internal departments to answer questions regarding order status and parts availability.
Documentation: Maintain digital records and ensure all vendor correspondence is filed correctly for audit purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data sorting, and formatting) and general office software.
Communication: Exceptional email etiquette and the ability to correspond professionally with external partners.
Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in alphanumeric data entry to prevent procurement errors.
Customer Service: A helpful, internal-customer focused mindset when assisting team members from other departments.
