Manually or mechanically wash and rinse dishes, glasses, and silverware, and maintain proper temperature for sterilization, in accordance with Company and departmental policies and procedures. No supervisory responsibilities.
Clean flatware, dishes, pots, pans, etc. Monitors water tank temperatures.
Disassemble and clean dishwasher, pulper, drive belts, etc. and reassemble and complete operational check prior to usage. Fill pot washing sinks, change wash water when greasy, and change rinse water when soapy.
Gather dirty pots/pans for dining facility area and bring to pot washing area.
Perform general cleaning and straightening of dish room and other areas, as directed. Clean debris from floor grates and drains, empty trash, wash walls, and racks, sweep, sanitize, etc.
May be required to spend extended periods of time away from home and work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

As stated in the CBA, employees are required to perform any and all work assigned to them in accordance with instructions from Company supervision, provided the work is in the recognized jurisdiction of the union and can be safely accomplished.
Education
High school graduate or equivalent desired.
Experience
Six months of dishwashing experience in a food industry environment preferred.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of proper use of equipment and cleaners to perform the assigned duties. Possess basic math skills.
Clearance
Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Other
May require possession of valid driver's license. Ability to plan and organize work to ensure that all duties are completed within established time frames. Ability to read/write/speak English, read instructions, rules, etc. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete all assignments in a timely manner.
