Job Description:
I. Position purpose / scope: The responsibility of the Barback is to assist the Bartender with the following duties: o Provide friendly, courteous beverage preparation and service in accordance with established procedures o Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of bar o Prepare mixes and garnishes o Stock all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products and other necessary items needed for efficient operation II. Responsibilities: Essential: o Primary function is to clean and stock the bar. o Report to the Bartender on duty at their scheduled bar. o Order and maintain departmental supplies at their assigned outlet o Maintain Beverage Department standards of cleanliness at all times. o Prepare all mixes and garnish. o Properly stock all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products, etc. and all other necessary items needed for efficient operation. o Assist Bartenders in the preparation of drinks when needed. o Fill in for Bartenders and breaks when needed. o Must be trained in health code requirements. o Adhere to all check settlement and Food & Beverage control procedures. o Other job related duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
