The ideal candidate will have:
Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. Shift: 2nd shift 1pm-9:30pm or 2pm-9:30pm & 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Volt is immediately hiring for a Junior Process Technician in Las Vegas, NV.
As a Junior Process Technician, you will:
- Set up and operate a variety of material handling, molding, finishing, and assembly equipment
- Perform mold changes and machine adjustments
- Start up and shut down molding machines
- Operate forklifts to move and organize molds
- Fill out daily process records to control and maintain machine running conditions
- Conduct minor repairs and change inserts as necessary
- Operate, repair, and maintain high-volume molding machines
- Monitor production quantities for color changes, mold changes, and product completions
- Execute activities within approved procedures to meet production needs
- Monitor and reduce scrap production
- Maintain housekeeping by 5S standards
- Promote safety, quality, and environmental awareness
- Identify and resolve issues related to equipment, machines, personnel, processes, training, and materials
- Provide process improvement recommendations to engineering
- Inspect machines hourly to ensure quality production
- Accurately report daily shift performances
- Troubleshoot support equipment (grinders, blenders, hopper loaders, and chillers)
- Communicate with team members about shift performance and scrap
- Correct or remove workplace hazards
- Perform duties as assigned by management

- Experience in machine start-up and shutdown, and knowledge of essential machine functions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic data entry skills
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write in English
- Capacity to work overtime as needed
