Operations/Test Analyst V - JSE Nellis AFB, NV
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesJOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Assists in developmental and operational testing of internal and external customer systemsInterface between instrumentation engineers and test customers to ensure that parametric data required is available for test data analysis and accurately reflects the system configuration and operational characteristicsEmployee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
o Provide or assist with leadership, organization, vision, innovation, and supervisory skills to a technical branch o Provide detailed Technical Expertise on the test process, and range environment and capability o Perform as EW, RF and Protocol Subject Matter Expert in a specialized area o Improve processes, systems, and procedures to obtain efficiencies o Develop advanced data analysis tools, processes, or products for complex analysis o Provide analytical mentorship to mid-level and junior analysts o Analyze pre-test predictions to design test events and profiles, define data collection requirements and go no-go criteria to meet complex test objectives; Brief complex mission execution plans o Conduct and direct complex test activities from control centers and provide expert system performance monitoring RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION o Develop data analysis tools, processes, or products for analysis and provide analytical mentorship to junior analysts o Analyze pre-test predictions to design test events and profiles, define data collection requirements and go/no-go criteria to meet test objectives o Brief mission execution plans, conduct test activities from control centers and provide system performance monitoring o Order QC and analyze data; Identify and resolve data anomalies and System Under Test performance variances o Present test findings and recommendations to 445 TS o Author test documents (Data Management and Analysis Plans, Test Support) o Provide Technical Expertise on the test process and capabilities of the virtual range environment REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Completion of technical training and at least 20 years of related experience; or an associate degree and 16 years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and 14 years of related experience; or a related Master's degree and 10 years of related experienceThe incumbent must understand concepts, principles, and practices of engineering and analysis to enable the employee to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programsThe position requires knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in technology to solve problems in the specialty areaIn addition, an Operations/Test Analyst V must possess the following

o Must maintain excellent communications and analytical skills o Must possess working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs o Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license o Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance up to Top Secret with Special Access o Must be a U.Scitizen SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $92,164 to $130,000 annuallyNote:
