Join our campaign to qualify a ballot initiative in Nevada to establish the right for Nevadans to make and carry out decisions about their reproductive health, including prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, birth control, vasectomies and tubal ligations, abortion and abortion care, and care for miscarriages and infertility. Since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, abortion rights and access in this country are under attack like never before and it s crucial that Nevadans have the right to control their bodies.

We re urgently hiring campaign staff to gather petition signatures from Nevada voters to put an important initiative on the ballot in 2024! Petitioners are paid hourly to canvas busy public places and ask passersby to stop and sign a petition with their name and date saying they want the chance to vote on the issue.
We are hiring immediately, all positions begin in early January and run through April 20th with possibilities for continued work through November. Shifts run between 10:
30 am - 6:
30 pm 7 days a week with the possibility to work part-time or full-time. Additional shift times may be offered over the course of the campaign.

Get paid well! Petitioner positions start at $23/hour. Leadership positions start at $25/hour. On top of the base hourly rate, we offer a generous bonus structure that ranges from $50-$100 daily depending on length of shift and number of valid signatures gathered. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.

Locations:
Central Las Vegas, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Reno, Nevada.

Canvasser Responsibilities ($23/hr):

  • Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters
  • Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
  • Strictly follow the campaign's safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with daily health and safety guidelines

Team Leader Responsibilities ($25/hr):

  • The Canvasser Responsibilities plus:
  • Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day and debriefing with them at the end of the day
  • Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be safe and successful
  • Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

The ideal candidate:

  • Passionate about this issue
  • Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone
  • Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible
  • Interested in building their campaign skills
  • Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
  • Prior petitioning, political, canvassing, or grassroots organizing experience is a plus but is not required.

Pay:
$23/hr for canvassers and $25/hr for Team Leaders. We offer driver bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. All full-time staff have the option to opt into our company healthcare plan.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
